Strategic Committees Inducted to Lead Growth, Engagement, and Resource Mobilization Initiatives

As part of our renewed strategy to increase visibility, strengthen local engagement, and mobilize support, the GILLBT Advancement team has successfully inducted members into key strategic committees in both Kumasi and Tamale.

These committees—Church Relations, Fundraising, and Children & Youth—are envisioned to play pivotal roles in advancing GILLBT’s mission. Kumasi Induction Ceremony On February 26, 2025, the GILLBT Kumasi Chapter hosted its induction ceremony at the Oasis of Love International Worship Center, inducting members into all three committees—Church Relations, Fundraising, and Children & Youth.

The induction was conducted by Archbishop Emeritus Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, with prayers for the newly appointed members led by Very Rev. Harry Awortwe. Newly appointed chairpersons shared brief remarks of gratitude and reaffirmed their dedication to serve. T he event concluded with a closing prayer by Bishop Prof. Comfort D. Adu and a benediction from Archbishop Yinkah Sarfo, followed by group photos and light refreshments
