GILLBT Staff Usher in 2025 with Collective Prayer Gatherings

On Friday, January 10, 2025, GILLBT staff in Accra gathered at the Accra Business Office in Adjiringanor for the Staff Day of Prayer. The event, themed “The Church: Key Partner in Bible Translation” and inspired by Psalm 119:130, united the team in spiritual reflection and alignment with GILLBT’s mission for the year. T he gathering commenced with a warm welcome address by the Executive Director of GILLBT, who shared the organization’s vision and expectations for 2025. His message served as a call to action, emphasizing the essential role of staff in advancing Bible translation efforts. Rev. Samuel Hanson-Addy then delivered a heartfelt exhortation, highlighting the Church’s critical role in Bible translation and urging staff to let the Word of God shine through in their daily lives. He encouraged everyone to embody the teachings of Scripture, emphasizing the transformative power of living out one’s faith. His inspiring message renewed the team’s dedication to GILLBT’s mission and underscored the importance of prayer, unity, and commitment. Following this, Rev. Emmanuel Adarkwa led a powerful prayer session, and the event concluded with closing remarks and prayer by Pastor Emmanuel Kyere. The proceedings left staff feeling inspired and united. T he Staff Day of Prayer, held simultaneously in all GILLBT offices across Ghana, successfully combined spiritual renewal with a clear vision for the year ahead.
