GILLBT Hosts Maiden Bible Conference in Koforidua

July 11, 2025

GILLBT held its maiden Bible Conference on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Full Gospel International Church, Koforidua, under the theme: “Effective Bible Interpretation; Vehicle for Church Growth.”

The event brought together 147 church leaders from 23 different denominations, all united in their desire to deepen their understanding of Scripture. The conference was chaired by Dr. Mark Awinzor, who welcomed participants and underscored the importance of the conference in equipping pastors and church workers to handle the Word of God with clarity and contextual relevance.

A highlight of the gathering was the keynote address delivered by Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Anim, the director of the Pentecost School of Theology and Missions at the Pentecost University, who offered a thought-provoking presentation on the theme. He emphasized that effective Bible interpretation is not only foundational for sound doctrine but also critical
for sustainable church growth and societal transformation. He further stressed the role of indigenous languages in making Scripture truly accessible and transformational.
