The Sekpele New Testament (http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=lip) was dedicated on the 18th of April 2009 in Likpe-Maate. Mr. Okyerefo and Mr. Cyprian were the translators. Sekpele is part of the Volta Region Multi Project. Michael Serchie, the VRM-P coordinator had a personal encounter with a shop owner in Hohoe town. When he met the woman in the shop he saw her reading the Sekpele New Testament. She later told him that she has been reading this scriptures in her heart language anytime her shop was less busy and that she found it much easier to read and understand it so well.
