GHANA INSTITUTE OF LINGUISTICS, LITERACY AND BIBLE TRANSLATION (GILLBT) seeks an experienced suitably qualified professional and mature Christian for appointment as HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN MANAGER. As a member of the Management team, the successful candidate will be expected to play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Human Resource and Administrative Strategies of the Institute and ensure the best operation of its systems and structures.

Reports to the Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a Human Resource Strategic framework which supports the immediate, medium and long-term objectives of the Institute.
  • Develop, harmonize and implement common HR policies.
  • Establish people planning and recruitment, career development and succession plans which allow for perpetual renewal of ideas and dynamism in the Institute.
  • Develop and implement employee communication systems.
  • Lead the implementation of performance management systems.
  • Design, implement and manage reward and remuneration systems to attract, develop, motivate and retain employees.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies, structures, systems and processes.
  • Responsible for developing responses to all safety, health and environmental issues
  • Responsible for Facilities Management and General Services

 

Education/Qualifications/Experience

  • A degree in Human Resource Management, General Administration or Social Sciences with (3) years relevant experience.
  • An MBA in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
